For fused cast refractories used in glass furnaces, our factory can test chemical composition, physical properties, molten glass corrosion resistance, glass phase exudation, bubble exudation, internal filling quality and dimensional accuracy before shipment.
For chemical analysis, the factory is equipped with a Rigaku X-ray fluorescence spectrometer from Japan. It can be used to analyze key components such as ZrO2, Al2O3, SiO2, Na2O, Fe2O3, TiO2, CaO, MgO and K2O. This helps verify product grades and maintain batch-to-batch consistency.
For physical property testing, we can test bulk density and apparent porosity. These indicators are closely related to product compactness, penetration resistance and service life, and are important quality indexes for fused cast AZS blocks.
For corrosion resistance evaluation, the factory is equipped with both static and dynamic molten glass corrosion test furnaces. Static corrosion testing simulates long-term contact between refractory materials and molten glass, while dynamic corrosion testing better reflects real furnace conditions such as glass flow, scouring and liquid-line corrosion.
The factory also has glass phase exudation testing capability. Low glass phase exudation is especially important for high-quality glass, float glass, borosilicate glass and special glass projects, helping reduce the risk of bubbles, stones and other glass defects.
For internal quality inspection, the factory uses a GSSI radar flaw detector to inspect internal filling and potential defects in fused cast blocks. Internal structure quality directly affects safety and service life in high-temperature furnace operation.
In addition to laboratory testing, we also focus on machining accuracy and pre-assembly inspection. For custom-shaped blocks, sidewall blocks, throat blocks and bottom paving blocks, we can process, grind, inspect and pre-assemble products according to customer drawings, helping reduce installation errors on site.
