From November 14 to 17, 2016, the Annual Conference of the National Inorganic Silicates Industry Association and the Symposium on Innovative Development were successfully held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. As a co-organizer, Zhengzhou Dezong Corundum Materials Co., Ltd. actively participated in and helped organize this event.
The conference diligently implemented the "13th Five-Year Plan for Development" put forth by the Central Government, centering on the themes of "Innovation, Green Development, and Intelligent Manufacturing." Attendees included leaders from national ministries-such as the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Environmental Protection-as well as renowned domestic and international industry experts and scholars. Representatives from nearly one hundred organizations-including dozens of prestigious universities and research institutes across the country, as well as upstream and downstream enterprises-were present at the meeting.
Our company's Chairman, Mr. Lu Hongwei, delivered the opening address at the commencement of the meeting. He began by extending his warmest congratulations on the convening of the event, and expressed his welcome and gratitude to the experts and colleagues in attendance. In his remarks, he highlighted the critical importance of refractory materials to glass furnaces. As a supplier of electro-fused zirconia-corundum refractory products, he affirmed the company's unwavering commitment to its core business philosophy: "Quality is our lifeblood, integrity is our root; we are founded on virtue and governed by benevolence." During the meeting, leaders from national ministries and industry associations provided in-depth interpretations of the "13th Five-Year Plan" and relevant national industrial policies. They engaged in discussions regarding the key issues and challenges encountered during the industry's innovative development, the establishment of a green inorganic silicate sector, the overall development trends in intelligent manufacturing, and corresponding response strategies. Furthermore, industry experts and professors were invited to deliver specialized presentations on related products, including sodium silicate, precipitated silica, silica gel, colloidal silica, and molecular sieves.
On the morning of the 16th, representatives from the association-including officials, experts, professors, and industry peers-visited our company for a tour and exchange session. They conducted a rigorous review of our standards regarding corporate image, management practices, and product quality control, and proceeded to tour our production workshops to conduct a detailed examination of our manufacturing processes. The delegation highly commended the company's overall ethos, professionalism, and stringent quality control system, while also affirming the excellence of our product quality and production techniques. Furthermore, they offered valuable suggestions regarding our corporate management and the future development of our product lines.
