High-alumina bricks are a type of refractory material, with Al2O3 as their main component. If the Al2O3 content is higher than 90%, it is called corundum brick. Due to resource differences, standards vary from country to country.
High-alumina bricks are a type of neutral refractory material with an alumina content of over 48%. They are made from bauxite or other raw materials with high alumina content through molding and calcination. They have high thermal stability, with a refractoriness above 1770℃. They also have good slag resistance and are used for lining steelmaking electric furnaces, glass melting furnaces, cement rotary kilns, etc.
High-load-soft, low-creep high-alumina bricks are a high-grade refractory material made primarily from premium bauxite, fused corundum, and fused mullite. This product has advantages such as low high-temperature creep, strong erosion resistance, and good thermal shock stability. It is suitable for large and medium-sized hot blast stoves. It paves a successful path for the domestic production of high-quality, high-grade imported refractory materials needed for new hot blast stoves in my country and has been included in the national "Spark Program" project.
